Signing Up To join TROHPIQ or to renew your existing membership, print and submit the completed form with the appropriate fee to TROHPIQ by mail or in person.

Membership Fees
Full course membership costs $20 and remains current until conclusion of the current course of study.
Annual membership costs $10 and remains current until either 1st February of the following calendar year or the first day of the member’s next academic year, whichever is the later.
Payment can be made by cash, money order, cheque or EFT.
Ordinary TROHPIQ Membership is open to current students studying at the University of Queensland and entitles the member to a wide variety of benefits that help to foster an interest in rural, remote and indigenous health practice.
Membership of TROHPIQ is based upon two requirements:
- Annual submission of current member details on the standard membership form; and
- Payment of the appropriate membership fee.
Associate TROHPIQ members shall be subject to the same fees and charges as ordinary members and shall be entitled to the same privileges. Associate members may be:
- Any persons enrolled in a tertiary institution in Queensland other than the University of Queensland may be made Associate members, subject to the approval of the MC.
- Any person who is a recognised partner, husband/wife of a ordinary member.
Membership Entitlements Membership entitles the member to discounts on all TROHPIQ events, activities and merchandise. Benefits include:
- Rural networks and communication with other rural health stakeholders ie. Health Workforce Queensland, Rural Doctors Association of Queensland.
- Access to rural medical education.
- Social activities.
- Subsidised rural conference attendance (upon application approval).
- Zephyr (quarterly publication).
- Eligibility for certain prizes and bursaries.
